reTREAT Club exists because I went looking for a retreat...

I'm Kathryn. Ramsgate-based, mum of two, working full time, and a total yoga lover. I've organised big trips and events for years, mainly just because I genuinely love it. This year I turned that into something.

Retreat Club for 1?

For a long time my year has been made up of festivals, big events and holidays that were loud, messy and brilliant in equal measure. Still are, honestly. But when you're also juggling two kids and a full time job, something eventually gives. I started running on empty in a way that felt different to just being busy. I needed to find some balance, and actually start investing in myself properly.

The first place I looked was Hotpod Yoga Margate. If you haven't been, go. It is bloody ace. It felt so great, I wanted more. I asked the teachers if they were running retreats, or if there were any they'd recommend. I kept hearing the same thing: they would love to do a retreat, but the organising, the logistics, all of it felt like too much on top of everything else.

Turns out I wasn't the only one.

So I put a retreat together. I asked the wonderful Rob Garrad from Hot Yoga if he'd be the teacher, found a villa in Marrakesh, and sent a message round to the friends I'd practised yoga with along the way that I knew would love this idea. The interest was instant. It sold out in two weeks. Word got out, friends of friends were asking to come. There wasn't room. Clearly it wasn't just me looking for this kind of recharge.

That was the moment reTREAT Club was born.

The teachers get to show up and do what they do best: share their energy, their practice, their brilliance, with absolutely no admin or mental load getting in the way. And you get a retreat that feels like a proper holiday, with yoga you already know you love, in a place worth travelling to.

Organising is my love language.

The kind of person who packs a first aid kit for someone else's holiday. Who has the restaurant booked before anyone's even thought about dinner. I don't just like organising, it's how I show up for people.

I curate these retreats as a student, not a teacher. Every decision gets filtered through one question: would I love this? The yoga is entirely the teachers' world, their style, their energy, their practice to share. My job is to make sure everything else is handled and nothing gets in the way of that.

It's early days and I'm seeing where this goes, but mainly I'm excited to spend some time connecting with beautiful like-minded human beings in stunning locations, indulgently doing yoga with my favourite yoga teachers.

This is your sign.... This is your sign....

Got an idea for a retreat?

reTREAT Club can work for any kind of retreat. A writing weekend. A creative escape. Something completely niche and your own. If you've got an idea and an audience to bring with you, let's talk. And if you want to organise something private for a group of friends, I'm very much here for that too.

I'd love to hear from you.
